What is the difference between Standard and Instant Exchange?Updated 7 hours ago
As of September 2026, we have introduced a new returns portal Refundid, for you to return or exchange your ELK items. You can select from the two options below for an exchange:
Standard Exchange - your new item will be despatched once we receive and process your returned item to our ELK Melbourne Warehouse. Free standard shipping postage, both ways.
Instant Exchange - by setting up a Refundid account, instant exchanges allow you to have your new exchange items shipped out instantly once your return has been lodged in the portal, even before you ship back your order. Free standard shipping postage, both ways. This option will save you the postage time of waiting for the parcel to reach ELK before your new item is sent, especially for our interstate customers.
*Please note that when completing an Instant Exchange, you will be required to input your card. No hold is put on your card; however, if you fail to send back your return within the allocated time, the card provided may be charged. After your return is lodged, you will have 7 days to drop your return off at the post office. The return does not need to have arrived back at our Distribution Centre within those 7 days; you will just need to hand it over to Australia Post.
