How do Store Credits work?Updated 5 hours ago

As of September 2026, we have introduced Store Credit as a new return option for both full-price & sale items, alongside exchanges.

Store Credit is issued directly to your ELK customer account and can be used towards a future purchase.

  • Every Store Credit is valid for 12 months from the date of issue. Expiry dates are unable to be extended, but if you are unsure what your expiry date may be, please reach out to our Customer Service team to check for you
  • Store Credits are issued to the amount of your original payment for the returned item
  • If you decide to return your item for a store credit and not exchange, a $15 return shipping fee will be deducted from the total amount of credit
  • Store Credits are redeemable at checkout online and in-store; this will be visible as a payment method
  • Can be used across multiple purchases until the balance is exhausted
  • Available as a return option for eligible sale items

*Please note, this is different from the 3-year Credit Voucher which we have previously offered issued as a gift card prior to May 2026. Store Credit, not Credit Voucher, is now our standard return credit option for sale items. If you have an existing Credit Voucher, it can still be used according to the terms provided when it was issued. Store Credit and Credit Vouchers are different systems, so they cannot be combined or transferred between each other.
