HOW DO I BEGIN MY RETURN?Updated 2 days ago

HOW TO PREPARE YOUR PARCEL FOR RETURN WITHIN AUSTRALIA

 

  1. Create your return via the Australia Post Returns Portal - Create a Return Here 
     Please use the email address associated with your order. You can find your order number on the order confirmation email or on the lower right-hand side of the postage label on your package.
  2. Pay the flat postal rate of $10.95 and print your label
     You can print the label at home or at your nearest Australia Post Office.

  3. Post your parcel
     Securely wrap your parcel and drop it off at a convenient street post box, post office, or parcel locker. You can track the journey of your return to our Victorian Returns Department.

* One return request needs to be created for each parcel to be returned. 

If you prefer not to use Australia Post, contact our Customer Service team to arrange for a manual return form to be emailed to you.

 

EXCHANGES

Unfortunately, we currently cannot facilitate exchanges. Instead, we recommend returning the incorrect item for a credit (issued as a gift voucher to use on your next ELK purchase), or refund and then placing a new order for the correct item.

  • Unfortunately, we cannot guarantee that your new item will still be in stock and available for purchase by the time your parcel is received and processed by the ELK Returns Department, or you visit one of our ELK stores.
  • To ensure you don’t miss out, we highly recommend checking our website to confirm the new item you are wanting is available and purchasing the new item before returning your unwanted item.

HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM TO AN ELK RETAIL STORE



Simply visit an ELK store with proof of purchase, and our retail team will assist you.

  • If you purchased online, show the online order confirmation email.
  • If you purchased in-store, show your paper receipt.

Please note:

  • In-store exchanges depend on stock availability—we may not always be able to assist with exchanges if your preferred size or colour isn’t available.
  • All refunds must be issued to the original account and payment method.



 

 


 

HOW TO PREPARE YOUR PARCEL FOR AN INTERNATIONAL RETURN

 

  1. Return shipping to our warehouse in Melbourne, Australia, is at the customer’s expense, to the below address.
  2. If your item is faulty, please contact us at [email protected], and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
  3. Please use a protective bag and a registered/traceable form of postage, as ELK is not responsible for items damaged or lost in transit from you to us. We are happy to offer you a refund for full price purchases.

FAULTY ITEMS



In the unfortunate case you have received an item you believe to be faulty, please don’t hesitate to contact us. 

 

  • We recommend emailing a photo clearly showing the fault.
  • Items will be assessed on a case-by-case basis, and we may repair, replace, or refund the item.
  • We follow the ACCC (Australian Competition and Consumer Commission) guidelines and reserve the right to repair or replace the item we deem to be faulty in support of our sustainable values.
